Each week, we’ll be getting to know a few people. This week, we’re getting to know one of Twenty Park’s key leaders. She has been called the rock of this group, and she is a true friend to all who are blessed to know her.

Name: Ashley Elizabeth Allen

Do you have pets?: Yes

What is your favorite kind of music?: I don’t really have a favorite. I listen to almost any kind of music.

Favorite musicians?: Hanson, Shane & Shane, HIllsong, One Republic. I like a lot of Musicians, just depends on my mood.

How did you start coming to Twenty Park?: Lexi Johnson asked me to come with her to check it out.

What is your perfect day?: I love days that end up being full of doing things that aren’t planned out but just completely spontaneous. Especially where the weather is warm but not hot. Just right where you want the windows down in the car and the music up. It also is filled with people I love but with some time in there to just relax and soak it all up. Or really any day that I’m getting to travel.

What is/are your dream(s) in life?: To love people and spread Gods love and for them to know Him and feel His love. And to truly live life.

Who is your hero?: I don’t know if I would use the word hero. But someone that I really look up to is Kaytie Jo Stinson. Kaytie Jo has overcome so much and she uses everything in her life to help others and to spread God’s love. She’s also one of the most selfless people I know. I feel so blessed that she has been put in my life. Also someone that has been equally important in my life would have to be Misty Algaier. When things were the hardest in my life she was there for me. Anytime I’ve needed anything she was there. She gave me a beautiful example of unconditional love and I’m so thankful for that. Also I just really love children. It’s not because they are tiny and precious, even though that is a lot of it. But its really because of their innocence, their love for life, and the fact that they don’t hold back. They feel free to be themselves and I love that! It’s a great example.

If you could spend the day with anyone in the world, who would it be?: Right now I can’t really think of anyone besides the people already in my life that I would want to spend the day with. Well maybe Zooey Deschanel. She seems like she would be really fun/entertaining to be around.

What is the most attractive quality in the opposite sex to you?: Follows God whole heartedly. A Spiritual Leader.

What are your hobbies?: Being with people. Reading. Listening to music.

If you could travel anywhere in the world today, where would you go?: Australia

How do you want to be remembered?: hmmm Well I hope that people know that I loved them and truly cared for them. I hope that I lived my life in such a way that they know what I was working towards. That I was living my life for God and his will. I want to be remembered as someone that didn’t hold back and didn’t let fear control my life but someone that fought through that and lived life to the fullest.

Tomorrow night at 7 pm, we’re back in The Cloud at The Well (map). We will hear from our campus minister, David Skidmore on trusting the God appears in The Cloud. Momentum is growing over the past few weeks, as decisions are being made for Christ almost every week. Get there.

After The Well, we’re going to the brand new opening of Buffalo Wild Wings at the brand new opening of 41st and Sheridan.

Last night at The Well, we started a new series called The Cloud. It was alive in the house with Booker Murphy leading worship, then David Skidmore preached the first message of The Cloud called “Marching On.”

After The Well, people scattered throughout the city, but six went to Village Inn for a Bible Study. Rodolfo “Rod-Man” Ramirez brought his friend, Daniel Bautista to The Well last night, and Daniel wanted to know what Christ could do with his life. The rest is history as Cory Legg led the Bible Study, Kyler Erwin shared their heart, and DeWantez Lovelace brought it home by calling Daniel to step up and change his life. Next thing you know Rod-Man and Daniel are standing in the water, and Rod-Man baptizes his best friend since middle school. Congrats to Daniel Bautista for his new life in Christ, and to Rod-Man for sharing his faith with Daniel.
